Rayleigh is a fourth-generation immigrant of Scottish origin with matriarchal roots in Beaver County. Her patriarchal roots extend from Alberta's oilsands to New Brunswick and back to Ireland. She holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Environmental Economics & Policy (University of Alberta), and a Diploma in Environmental Science (Lakeland College). Her skills are garnered over a decade serving and learning from grassroots groups, First Nations and municipal governments, nonprofits, and small businesses in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Northwest Territories.
